it's been awhile. i've been in college for a few weeks now and it's going well. drawing class is unfortunately boring. it's all still life. i get it, it's useful, it really is, and i know i need to learn the basics, but i don't think i can take any more drawing classes after a certain point since i'm majoring in art education instead of drawing. i don't think they'll cover how to draw living things in my classes. anyway, things are good.
i saw evanescence and korn last sunday. it was a total surprise! i was back home for labor day weekend and i mentioned to my mom that they're here and she didn't think they'd be here until october. she got the both of us tickets right then and we got really good seats. like so good that amy lee's sister was literally in the row in front of us. it was really fuckin cool. it was mostly korn fans there which i expected. most people sat during ev's set (not me of course i went insane) but they all stood for bring me to life and my immortal. when korn was on though, oh man did everyone go crazy. they played basically every song i was hoping they'd play and amy showed up for freak on a leash. the shot out long strings of white confetti when the breakdown hit and i managed to get some. easily one of the best concerts i've been to.
unfortunately i ended up getting covid (kovid?) after which SUUUCKED lmao. oh, there was also a guy in a corn costume there. he must've been so sweaty in that thing it was so fuckin hot out there. anyway, i just wanted to catch up a bit since i haven't updated in a month.
